What if we really got behind our own ideas?

Like honestly, what if we really, truly, over-enthusiastically championed our own ideas, goals, plans and projects?

I meet with my spiritual director once a month for a 2 hour session we’ve affectionately named Our Work in the World. It is a container we built to hold space for the projects, plans and visions we aim to make manifest to bring our heart’s work to the world. In our latest session we explored the simple concept of really getting behind ourself just as confidently and supportively as we do for our loved ones. Can you imagine the force of energy, progress and feelings of fulfillment to be had?

This post does not need to be much longer. The title is the message. And so I encourage you to sit with that question and consider how different life and work could be if we gave ourselves the same gift that we so often shine upon those around us.
